Eva Novy is a writer with an insatiable curiosity about everything in general and about secrets in particular. Any secret will do – the unexplained absence at a family party, the whisper behind closed doors, the couple at the next table just out of earshot. She sees secrets everywhere, both real and imaginary, and that’s what she loves to write about.
Before the writing, there were other affairs: Eva studied mathematics (her first love), French (the fling), linguistics (more of an estranged ex) and education (a good mate). She spent many happy years teaching maths at high school and linguistics at university. She has lived and studied in Australia, France and the USA but her heart will always belong to Paris.
Eva lives in Sydney with her husband and their two beautiful, spirited boys. Her first novel, Darling, impossible!, was published in late 2014.
